Connecting the Dots: What goes behind designing a creative poster.

Context

As a designer in SDSLabs, Software Development Section in IIT Roorkee, apart from designing digital products, I also design posters for our club and other sister clubs, for any events or competitions.

The poster I’m going to demonstrate today is for our sister club, Infosec, cyber-security club in IIT Roorkee. This is for their annual flagship event known as Backdoor CTF, which is basically a CTF competition for both IITR peeps and outside.Final Thoughts

I generally divide my designing process in several basic steps:
